This is just blocks from my apartment building. I did not go.

Anybody from DU there?

On edit:

Violence has escalated with numerous broken store front, restaurant, bar windows. Fire was set in the DGX one block down the street from me. There is another apartment building above the DGX.

They are breaking windows, blocking traffic and throwing giant rolling garbage cans in the middle of the street.

No cops visible. The helo is hovering.

It's calmed down quite a bit on the intersection below and in the park across the street. Heard a gun shot about 30 minutes ago and dozens of people came running out of the park.

Still no sign of any police presence on the ground. Still helos hovering.

Thank goodness Snowy had already been out for the last time before the crowd started coming this way.
