Did you know..

Ghandi saw no use for separation of religion from the state or politics. His religion has its flaws.
Like the evangelicals and christian republicans today, forcing thier religion on other people, of many religions they want religion and state merged.

Ghandi had a lot of crazy beliefs.

Ghandi is no saint he was a politician
Yet people want to imagine him a saint. People in India have varied opinions of him

Also passive resistance does not work on enemies without decency, humanity or shame. It fails against narcissists, authoritarian and sociopaths.

Trump is a narcissist,as are 1/3 of our countries populace.

was local. Why then thousands of years later do we find this unusual? Evidently the long arc of justice
matches the long arc of human development...

It seems to suggest that the person who made passive resistance into a powerful force against oppression is not somebody worth listening to because he was very religious.

What is your suggestion as to what to do when TPTB are without decency, humanity, and shame? Is that when the country's* populace starts rioting and busting shit up?

* "country's" is the correct way to spell that, btw - "countries" means more than one country, NOT "of or belonging to the country."

Gandhi wasn't perfect. He could be downright weird in many ways. Does this mean that he doesn't pass the purity test?

And are narcissitic, authoritarian and even sociopathic.

They are fanatic, abusive, brazen in thier criminality, and do not care about human labor capital, suffering.

In some instances protest may require something different than passive resistance. At some time it may be prudent to use a variety of tactics.

The protests are full of
contelipro, assholee infiltrators, and the cops are destroying things.

If they are not exposed by the state and media the protest could be discredited by these cops and assholes if no one acts to expose and stop them. Glad cellphones have video/ photo capability.

To say belongs to the country. I knew the spelling was wrong and couldn't remember for the life of me how to spell it.
