Believe it or not, there was rioting in Scottsdale, AZ last night.

Smashed windows, looting in Scottsdale as protests continue

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. — The protests over George Floyd's death turned destructive in Scottsdale Saturday night.

Police said there was some damage to businesses in the area of Fashion Square Mall, which had closed early in anticipation of the protests.

Sky 12 video shows protesters smashing glass windows and doors at the Apple Store, Crate and Barrel, Urban Outfitters and Neiman Marcus. Some of them looted items from the stores.

Police declared the gathering an unlawful assembly shortly before 11 p.m. The crowds were ordered to disperse.

Again, I suspect outside agitators are largely responsible.

It can't be. 'Looters' can only be POC's. If they're white, they're 'liberating the belongings' nt mr_lebowski May 2020 #8
Yes, and it had nothing to do with a protest. StarryNite May 2020 #10

If it looks like an orange turd, smells like an orange turd, then it must be an orange turd.

If this had happened 15-20 years ago, I could have believed it.

At that time, Scottsdale did indeed have poor and working-class neighborhoods. I know, because I bought a house in one (where I still live).
Now, they have all been gentrified and the neighborhood is solidly white majority.
(And, I could no longer afford to buy here, unless I won the lottery).

It's where I heard that Nixon had resigned. My family was there visiting relatives, and it was a time when Motel 6 was considered on relatively decent, inexpensive lodging. My parents moved to that area in the early 1990s, and it's crazy how things have changed since then.

I had to look for it on a map. I guess I remember it being right on Scottsdale Rd., which explains why I didn't see it the last time I went past that area.

But I dont know about who showed up in Scarsdale.

I’ve been in marches when the agents provocateurs showed up and tried to whip up the crowd to violence and we all ignored them and isolated them.

Did you see the vid of the guy in St Paul, all covered, who calmly, with tools, went about preparing the glass at (I think) an Auto Zone, scoring the glass and tapping with a tool till the glass shattered, then calmly walking away?

Who benefits?

and those who want to keep up the chaos until it breaks us leaving a power vacuum, they think, to step in and take control.

Right now, both -45 and his AG have declared war on we the people and are promoting their civil war in all communications.

They should be arrested and powers suspended until they are legally ousted.

These were looters. And they were predominately white that I saw in video. Apparently some racist YouTube star was part of the .crowd

It was all about destruction and looting. Nobody was protesting. Scottsdale PD pretty much stood down saying they weren't going to endanger their officers for damages being done to stores. It was a huge mess. I was watching local coverage until 1:30 am.
