They generally operate in a top down fashion, telling people what they should be doing.
If protests arise on "the left" they always have to blame someone - like George Soros, or Antifa, or Nancy Pelosi.
It would be amazing if anyone had the power to singularly organize and implement protests over the death of a black man in Minnesota all over the country, much less elsewhere. Republicans don't understand the magnitude of the issue or the source of the response, so all they can do is try to suppress it with force.

They started with making it about going to church and they grew it from there.
The only real comparison I can think of was watching the Womens March. I knew of it but I had no idea - the press didnt either- the size of it. That was truly organic and cake out of seemingly nowhere

(10,749 posts)None of the actions by the rw is organic. Every one of them is either astroturfed or extends from sn AstroTurf operation. And they are self contained. They dont motivate masses of unaffiliated white people to join them. Thats why they blame someone for organizing the protests and demonstrations. Because thats all they understand.
