filming from helicopter and well behind police lines.

2. I was watching it live and said out loud to my empty house -
How sad, many of them will not or can not come back.
My next thought - Jeff Bezos is smiling. Damn |

18. Exactly. My guess is the margins for those owners were low to
non-existent. When a business is paying thousands a month for rent, the daily register take must be $2,500+ per day for them to have a remote chance of staying in business. Their business being damaged and looted likely wipes them out - that is sad because many of those people put their life savings into the businesses.

4. So many think insurance will save the day.
Insurance doesn’t replace all of your inventory at it’s true value. It doesn’t replace stuff you might have in your shop that’s not inventory. It doesn’t replace your sweat and hopes.
BUT IT IS FOR THR CAUSE! |

6. I was watching the footage of people calmly coming and going from a Target in Philly.
Looting freely. I had to turn it off. Blows my mind that people have no moral compass.
This has nothing to do with George Floyd. |

19. In any low income area, 80% of people respect property rights.
What you see on tv are the 20% that don't.

20. I agree.
Years ago, I lived in a low income area in the Keys.
I never locked my doors, usually left my car unlocked too lol. Best neighbors I ever had. |

8. Yeah. We are fucked in Philly...
Corona plus this...shit.
I’ve been back to work three days a week seeing people in Center City. This will be my sixth week back. Not one...not ONE works in his or her normal place of business if they’re working at all. Retail is dead...during the depths of the quarantine I would walk down Walnut to a Wawa convenience store to get some lunch, and maybe there’d be two other people out on the street. When I’d get to Broad Street I could cross no matter what the light was because there were no cars. Beyond belief. The fascists are provoking this. I’m certain of that. |

12. Nothing
Just like George Floyd did nothing which should cause him to be killed by police.
The main problem I see is that the United States is a failed nation. We are not the greatest nation on earth. Not by a long shot. |

17. 'Law and Order'
Trump knows he can't run on the economy or his response to Covid. He'll run on 'law and order.' Remember, Chauvin, the MPLS cop, was a speaker at Trump's October, 2019 MPLS rally. He kept his knee on Floyd's neck for a full three minutes after he stopped breathing, and none of the other cops tried to get rid of onlookers or take away their cell phones. This was all scripted to cause riots. 'Law and order.'
