(8,958 posts)here's the thing about Trump and jail...not enough pain...Hitler murdered 6 million Jews, untold numbers of Romanis and gays...the coward hung himself...as for Trump he spread this pandemic and killed 100,000+ people, he isolated us from the rest of the world, he put babies in cages, polluted our rivers and skies, legitimized hate...courted despots, allowed a foreign government (Russia) to interfere with our electoral system, held a country hostage unable to defend itself (Ukraine) until it agreed to investigate his democratic opponent...dismantled the FBI, turned the White House into a money making machine for him and his amoral cabinet...so trump in jail?...too easy...I want what I wanted for Hitler (my parents were Holocaust survivors)...I want death by a hundred thousand cuts..literally...and an extra thousand for babies in cages..and then we the people can write THE END to the putrid Trump and McConnell and Collins and Kavanaugh "chapter" in American history

In any case, heeeeere's Trump! The choking nightmare from which we cannot seem to awaken!

(10,481 posts)A look inside the darkest period in American history.
The year was 2016 as many hopes that Donald Trump would be just a laughingstock, written off by most as just a shock factor wannabe be president. But as the night of November 2016 came and went, we stopped laughing at the joke as it became reality, it became the worst thing we feared. Donald J. Trump elected as 45th president of the United States.
Read through the story of many tweets, attacks on minorities and immigrants, fumbling one of the worst pandemics in history and causing the biggest unemployment crisis since the 1930's. Causing the hate and divide within the country and mishandling the police riots of 2020.
