We should all be very thankful Biden is our nominee

He just visited the site of George Floyd protests in Wilmington Delaware.

One thing that's apparent is that his instinct to comfort and empathize with people is truly genuine.

The complete opposite of Trump.

All the chicken littles who think this situation will hurt Dems are dead wrong.

Just my 2 cents.

The politicians who step forward will be remembered. The ones with no headlines should wonder what they are doing, among the good guys.

I don't follow a lot of social media, but among our Vice-Presidential alleged candidates, Kamala Harris is visible. Moreover, she is my main preference for VP.

My suggestion is that America take a page from Nelson Mandela and his method of reconciliation.

An action and detail oriented VP to complete the team. Someone who can readily assimilate facts and dig us out if pandemic. And to vaccinate in a humane and equal opportunity way.

As for president, I hope Biden has an authoritarian streak too. Because we will need strong federal leadership to force states to comply to health guidelines.

One hides in a bunker. The other is out meeting with people. Which is ironically what the orange assface told Whitmer she should be doing when the militia was storming the Michigan capital.
