Keep safe, DUers. Just curious...some questions about protests - is there one in your city? etc

Wondering what the array of DUers current experiences are as we watch this surreal situation continue to unfold.

I would not go even if there were any here. They can turn violent in a flash and I am no longer young.

I would not go, young or not, with a pandemic in progress. It really scares me that people seem to have forgotten this.

Went to the vigil last night and it was short and peaceful. Didn't see one police officer, which is odd because they are a pretty big part of the community here.

And I'd be there but I'm an old coward when it comes to curfews and such

One's about 14 miles away the other about 10 miles away.

I am glued to the tv. Local news has been carrying it all day.
