(11,767 posts)As soon as trump is out of office, I expect the same people running those ads will go full attack ads against Democrats.

(35 posts)It's reality. If and when we get rid of the orange monster, the repubs will revert back to their old ways. They'll be fighting to eliminate health care. They'll be fighting bank and financial institution reforms. They will no longer need the annoying, weak and evil Dems. So Dems, let's not be lulled into a sense of false security by snuggling up to the repubs.

(4,858 posts)...I know some of them. Some are relatives. Two of my great-great grandfathers were Civil War veterans, and Radical Republicans. I still hope that someday, the GOP might recover their roots, and we'll have a real, sane "conservative" party.

(2,733 posts)Here in Texas they are paraded around quite a bit. I've always disliked them, but it wasn't until I saw a pickup plastered with them a few days after 9-11 that I realized to my depths that they stood for hatred of America and what it stands for. Burst into tears. Treason is right.
I like the way they raised the question. A direct accusation might meet with self-justification. The questions raised are going to linger and be mulled over. And about more than Trump, I hope.
