We just got back from a 'word of mouth' silent vigil at our local Anne Frank memorial.

No flags, signs, speakers or anything. Best of all, no yahoos with guns making a scene. Just normal folks, maintaining distance and everyone with a mask. It started at 7:19 with a few soft tones and ended 8'43" later with bells. Just over 50 folks giving a respectful 8 minutes of silence. It was all very somber and sober with a few tears shed.
