In another city (I don't remember where) the fact that the mayor ordered a curfew people were really ticked off because they said the city didn't give them enough time to prepare for the curfew. I think that once Mayor Bowser decided to order the curfew, she had to give folks several hours to get ready for it.

Perhaps she should have ordered it sooner, but she was probably trying to avoid doing it at all given how many people in DC are losing their shish that a curfew was imposed on them.

She has corrected that issue for tonight. Everyone has plenty of notice. If you are out after 7pm you are subject to arrest.

People need the ability to express their outrage, but what happened last night went well past that.

11 is too late to put the curfew in. Make the call earlier and start earlier.
