(63,221 posts)First I heard he went to a bunker -
Then I heard the staff was ordered not no come to work tomorrow.
Now the lights are off!
Until that last, I was thinking, that -
He's either very scared of a few protestors.
Or he got a very bad case of Covfefe. I mean Covid-19.
Or he's planning something very nefarious, like Super Villian level.
Now I wonder.

But if it is, may it be lucky enough that he takes Pence with him.

(15,325 posts)They'd probably set it ablaze themselves & blame the Left.
I see Erik Prince (of Darkness) has surfaced again.
Something's up.

(19,564 posts)That's a real leader there for you.
Hide in the basement: Check!
Send in the snipers to protect him from the angry mobs: Check!
Address the Nation on the fear, upheaval and deviation taking place all around them in hopes of diffusing the current powder keg with strong leadership: Nope.
Currently in the safe area under the WH, Trumps Calls Putin as fast as his stunted fingers allow over and over, while being constantly directed to his voicemail. Scans Twitter Furiously looking for a QAnon Post which might bail his ass out with his base. Wonders about the musty smell in his hideout and hopes the TV down there gets FOX and Friends for his morning infusion of ego boost, all while screaming over and over about Hillary's emails and then muttering something under his breath which sounds suspiciously like, "all I have to do is blame this all on Obama, that'll be a sell with the idiots who support me!"

It's a rather ominus and eerie sight.
I don't like the feel of this night as it is!
Ugh.
Our 2015 White House was so pretty.. thanks Obama

(25,327 posts)They are afraid of protestors breaching. SS works with night scopes and dogs don't need light.
Also protestors are much less likely to breach dark grounds or at least they will breach the grounds much more slowly if it is dark as opposed to lit.
Of course protecting protesters outside the WH should also be their main focus.
Sure Trump lives there, but he's only squatting.
