Have you noticed that Republicans are weirdly absent from protest-coverage?

Who has publicly commented on the protests? Trump, Biden, Pelosi, mayors and governors.

I just did a search on foxnews.com for "GOP" and for "Republican". Nothing whatsoever related to the protests.

I wonder why none of them is willing to attach themselves to Trump's authoritarian strongman-approach... And how many will be willing to bind their political career to Trump when the election rolls around?

Probably best to stay out of it. Let the local politicians take action.

Some kinder and gentler version was probably precipitated by Trump's "Strength" tweet, responding to a tweet from a white power terrorist group that expects Trump to lead them in creation of a white state and executing Democratic leaders.

Rubio Tweeted: "Only 13 of the 57 people arrested in ‪#MIAMIPROTEST‬ live in the City. Some of the others came from as far away as New York & Minnesota."

Rubio was quickly fact-checked: "This is disingenuous. 30 were from Miami-Dade County and over 40 were from South Florida, per ‪@AndySlater‬"

@AndySlater: "JUST IN: Residence breakdown of Miami's 57 arrests last night.

30: Miami-Dade
8: Broward
3: Palm Beach
3: Minnesota
2: New York
1: Georgia
1: Michigan
6 are homeless, 3 others are unknown"

What?! They closed down the Walmarts at 5PM because of the protests?

Why do we have to suffer so much!
