Far workers are dying from Covid 19. Food system in peril.

So sad. So preventable. Such assholes who own Oakes Farm in Florida who called Covid a hoax and now their workers are dying.

If you live anywhere near their business please stop going there. I went to their website but couldn’t find a means to contact them. I will keep trying.

I've been following the BS coming from Oakes Farms for quite some time now on Facebook. The owner has been advocating some really dangerous stuff. This comes as no surprise.

I've been watching them since March. The owner/CEO Alfie Oakes is absolutely awful and apparently a danger to his employees and community.

Several of us have reported his misleading posts, but he didn't backtrack his position, but he did acknowledge that the virus existed finally. He claimed that with good nutrition, you could have a strong enough immune system to fight COVID-19. At the time they weren't allowed to have in store dining, so they sold food in to-go containers and the customers just went and sat down at the tables to eat them. Now it appears they are providing live entertainment.
