This is my daily dose of information and sanity. Where I live in El Paso demonstrations very rarely happen but the people here do the right thing. They vote and it's about 80% for the Democratic party. I've been in demonstrations since the 1960's and I'm not sure if they accomplish much. It's much more important to vote and hold elective officials accountable. Also be a good example and a reliable source of information.

always worth it to protest, even when it feels as if nothing changes. I only wish I could be protesting right now, but I'd rather live to protest another day. I'm not talking about the police brutality, but covid.

in the middle of election night 2016. A nightmare. i was all alone in a hotel in Philly, trump was winning, and DU was GONE.

for the next 2 weeks or so i was checking the page multiple times daily. distraught and lost without it.
