In saner days, if this happened in Russia or Egypt or other dictatorships, republicans would condemn
Republicans used to condemn those countries with their brutal dictators who went after peaceful protesters, threatened to hunt down and kill citizens, openly tried to suppress the vote, and went after a free press for telling the truth about the crimes and atrocities of a corrupt government. Now the republicans are no better.
