New Michigan poll from Public Policy Polling shows Biden leading Trump 50-44%.

6% undecided.

538 rates PPP as a B-level poll with a 0.3 average bias for Democrats.

What's interesting to me is that PPP had a 6-point spread 10 days ago (51-45) with 4% undecided. Hard to say which way undecideds will break as the fall comes. It may be a wash if the movement over the past 10 days shows anything.

unfortunately distracting from the message, and has the potential to hurt us in November.

At this time I think we need to get as many people registered to vote as possible, and make sure we get the vote out.

The survival of the country depends on it. I really believe that

Even if it were 99-1, I wouldn't be satisfied.

But given that Trump won the state in 2016 and that Biden is running consistently ahead, I'll take this for now. Assuming the polls are accurate, Trump has to win ALL the undecideds and persuade some current Biden voters. That is a tall order.

We have to get out. If we have high turnout in Michigan, we win. That didn't happen in 2016. We won't let it happen again.

and I think it bodes well for us. Trump never expanded his base and it sounds like the middle is drifting Biden's way.
