Is it just me or...

When Trump read out that speech it sounded pretty threatening. But every minute that’s gone by since he gave it, the weaker it sounds.

“I’m the law and order president!” Yeah, sure you are. “I’ll deploy the military all over the country!” Yeah, no, you can’t do that. “This ends now!” Um, probably not.

The country is in bits right now, and the best he can do is puff out his chest and swing a Bible around in an effort to give his ever-shrinking base a woody.

Still pathetic!

Which doesn't preclude him from unleashing Barr for roundups, headline-grabbing arrests, followed up by either quiet releases for inability to prosecute, or else show trials.

a "kooky and extremist content" when it was from both a respected long-time staff writer and posted by staff consensus on a 23 year-old site.

What we're seeing isn't pathetic, imo. It's tyranny trying to dismantle citizens' rights to get redress of grievances. The grievances are clear but he doesn't care for anything but his tyrannical "order."

We're about to see blue states treated as "domestic terrorist" strongholds, and he will be fighting against Democrats with violent language only to get re-elected as some "strong" leader compared to ours, who he'll accuse at his upcoming convention as aiding and abetting socialists and commies.

Mon Jun 1, 2020, 10:20 PM
Jun 2020

Today once again demonstrated that 45th is not our president. His incendiary comments to governors and “Law and Order President” stance further proves that his defeat in November must happen. His support among Republican governors is waning and the public, already fed up and angry about Floyd and institutional racism, will no longer support his hateful, selfish agenda. It’s my hope that Biden will take this as an opportunity to demonstrate real leadership by siding with the protestors and continue his pledge to make real change in the first 100 days of his presidency.

She said a lot of things like, I never thought I'd see this, and how'd we sink so low. She was literally scared and she said as much.

Me, my first instinct and reply to her was he's terrified and overcompensating. It's just such a typical move of a cornered bully. All I heard when he was speaking was a scared bully who'd finally been stood up to by a victim and their mask was suddenly off. Since then I've learned he's tanking in the polls with RW Christians. All of this is so much more clear now.

I'm not saying we shouldn't be wary, we need to be even more vigilant of the cornered rat now, but he's literally as transparent as glass. Which means, he's one ball pein hammer tap away from being shattered right now.

We just need to time our blow correctly and I believe we, and our great nation, will survive.
