With due respect to those who have, it won't be a large memorial. OrlandoDem2 Jun 2020 #1

It would look really nice on the back of a toilet.

Or on a shelf in DFT's Presidential Library.

... The Lincoln Project is filled with the people who spent their careers building a base that would love a guy like Trump. For one, Rick Wilson was a protege of Lee Atwater (pre-deathbed regrets) and has helped put nutjobs like Kris Kobach in positions of power.

The conservative movement snuffed out the last reasonable Republicans when they drove the Rockefeller Republicans under and gloated over the burial mound.

Yes, the Lincoln Project can make effective messages. Great, but why the hell are we outsourcing that? Are we truly incapable of effective messaging?

They understand the effectiveness of a drumbeat, of repetition in getting a message to sink in. Of taking advantage of emotional notes. Is it truly the case where no Democrat knows how to do that? (Bullshit!) Is it a matter of resources? (Hey Tom Steyer, are you done buying vanity billboards and want to try something useful?)

I understand admiring the effectiveness. I will never understand the adulation for people who are the enemy. Don't give me the "enemy of my enemy is my friend" old saw. Be ashamed that we are taking a back seat to these vandals, and never ever be fine with it. Outdo them and drive them under.

If those people possessed any degree of true righteousness, they wouldn't be republicans.

I'm more than happy to watch them trying to eat their own spawn. Other than that, I have no use for them.
