As Rump gets nuttier and hemorrhages voters

do you think republicans will finally remove him and put their bets on Pence having a better chance to win the election? I think that has always been a possible alternate plan for them, but they hoped they could contain the nutter until November.

but as their train goes off the rails some republican candidates might think it a good strategy for their own elections.

But the MAGAts would go berserk. Romney voted to expel him and that is against their religion (such as it is).

I don't think so. They are heavily invested in him because their party is on the verge of obsolescence in more way than one and they are desperate to remain in power irregardless of their backwards policies, catering to vested interests, obstructionism, and the list goes on. They can't and won't really be able to adapt to a rapidly accelerating, technological paradigm that is in progress now and we need to progress in order to survive and adapt to the host of challenges we face. It is vital.

They no longer even represent a real opposition party, other than the fact that they oppose everything. There was a time when the Democrats and Republicans were counterparts in our political scheme and now the GOP has become a breakaway oddity and a detriment to the country overall.

They have become political dinosaurs that have seen the a big ball of fire in the sky. The demographics alone spell the end of their current form of deception-based governance and corruption.

It seems that Trump is important to them in that regard because he can and will act in the most illegal and contemptuous manner to strong-arm the country into a compromising position. All those rats in the corner figure this obese, orange rat may be able to go for the throat of America and rip open the carotid artery of Lady Liberty to take her out and give them free reign as any regime would demand. The complicit behavior makes sense.

He is the end-result of forty years of effort on their part to place in office an utter imbecile who brings the entire framework of American governance collapsing to the ground and into the cellar hole.

They've been dreaming of this moment for decades; the guns, the tear gas, the innocent minorities murdered by unaccountable cops, every tradition of freedom and civil liberty that decent people treasure, threatened by thugs in suits and thugs in camo and body armor.

They will NEVER get rid of Trump...
