Is the Democratic Party dead in Arkansas

Tom Cotton is an idiot and has been saying stupid shit lately, so I decided to see who is Democratic challenger was for this year’s election....and to my surprise there was no one. Now I know Arkansas is a deep Red State, but really? No one....This is a state that a decade ago had two Democratic senators....I don’t care how Red a state is, there never should be a Senate race where there isn’t a Democratic challenger, just pathetic.

Who, in their right mind, that had gotten the fuck out of Arkansas, would go back?

Just let it be the shithole it is, and then when Dems have national power, ensure that states get not one cent more in federal dollars than they pay in.

In a couple of years, they'll devolve to cannibalism.

We have had nothing but GOP governors since 2005 and GOP has a solid lock on the legislature and (I think) all statewide elected offices (we lost Donnelly in 2018). Outside of a couple(?) of Democratic House Reps, and some local Democratic bastions, this state has pretty firmly gone to the GOP. Don't know how or when that might change. I hope I live long enough to see it. :-/
