(7,794 posts)Or a simply bad time to have a Mason's convention.
Or brick laying has become a dangerous secret.
Squidly
(868 posts)If we knew where this was, with the number on the vehicle it would be fairly easy to have these thugs reported...unless the whole damn department is in on it...which wouldnt surprise me.

(3,278 posts)I don't think this shows what people are saying it does. Those "bricks" appear to be smallish squares -
roughly 4" X 4"...

(2,571 posts)Makes zero sense but nice try. Those were bricks-with old mortar mostly broken.

(3,278 posts)The videographer pans very quickly to something to the right and then back again to dwell on the cops.
I don't think this shows what it is purported to show -
I think we should be wary of assuming that such videos are presented in good faith.
Squidly
(868 posts)You are going to have shaking and unintended pans....unless you have worked in video, most people dont consciously try to avoid jerky motions like that, especially when they are excited.

(93 posts)It's natural to draw assumptions. At the least I would like to see this explained. I can think of no legitimate reason a police vehicle would have a hidden compartment apparently filled with bricks.

(10,539 posts)institutional problem with our police culture in this country. These protests will not stop until real reforms are achieved. That is something Trump and the powers that be do not understand. You cannot beat Americans into compliance with your authoritarian violence!
We clearly have a problem that will not be swept under the rug, but we also clearly have a problem with a President incapable of properly handling this crisis. This is a clash that will get much uglier before it can get better.
I blame Mitch MCConnell and the Republicans for protecting this inept and hateful President when he should have been impeached before the virus and this horrible murder of another in a long list of unarmed black men! This is the worst case scenario and bodes ill for the election coming up In November!
