As many DUers know, certain members of various Christian sects claimed that it was God’s will that Donald Trump should become President and that voting for Donnie was God’s work (Many of these people may already be participating in organized forgetfulness, but that’s another topic for another time). Some were still at it as late as the night George Floyd lost his life.

If you find this argument unconvincing, you can needle such purveyors by saying that God was going to present the President and nation with a series of crises and challenges that an upright man of courage, honor, integrity and vision could readily meet and overcome.
