Atlanta CBS.
Messiah Young, 22, graduate of Morehouse College, and Taniyah Pilgrim, 20, student at Spelman, were tased and assaulted in her car. Two policemen were fired immediately. Young suffered a broken wrist and needed 24 stitches from beeing thrown on the ground.
Police officer claimed a gun was pulled on them. There was no gun.
Arrest warrants for aggravated assault, simple battery, property destruction, for six police officers, including the two that fired.
Those body cameras tell a story! CBS News video on the scene also aided the DA. I still don't know why the police went after Young and Pilgrim. They were leaving the protest.

The firing might well be justified, but the students did drive off twice causing police to chase them.
The police officers fired were normally assigned to guard duty, but were called into this situation. None of this was necessary, but I think these two policeman at least deserve another look to see if some other punishment is more appropriate.
