Everyone needs to stop saying he is going to get beaten in November.

Stop it right now, I don't want to see any more polls nothing. Wait until next week, my guess is his numbers will be up 5 points or more because the majority of Americans are not very bright and easily scared into submission.

We have to go under the assumption that we are going to lose, and lose big so we keep right on working, staying vigilant and getting people registered and to the polls in November.

To get this to stop we have to beat the pants of these cretins if we don't the republic is lost and most of us who have fought him will be in jail under martial law.

He and the underbelly of this country are using the peaceful protests to get him reelected by fear.

at this early stage is delusional.

Sad to say .. but under the current climate .. it's my belief that even marginal signs of competency in the executive branch would be enough to put this thing over the top. People are spooked .. and moving toward being scared. It's not a good look.

(And .. steady eddie Joe Biden might be the smartest thing that the Democrats have done in years!)

We have to get all these young, new voters out to vote also. We need to increase our base. I highly doubt the majority of the young voters are RW tiki torch carriers. An awful lot of the protesters are of voting age. We need to convince them that voting for Dems is part of the solution.

need to make sure that doesn't happen again in 2020.

We need everybody out to vote this fall, everybody in every state, county and city in the country.

We need to overwhelm all of the Repub electioneering and voter suppression.

Sure, I watch polls and I take some comfort in Biden's lead in them, but I'm gonna vote.

We do have to keep working, though. Some people will be motivated to keep working by the fear that we will lose. Some will be motivated by the anticipation that we will win.

But nobody can be complacent. The stakes are too high. We all need to do whatever we can.

I went out today, and saw NOBODY wearing a mask as the entered and left gas station convenience stores and all kinds of businesses.

The virus might as well be a hoax, the way people are acting. And given their behavior, it's almost annoying to me that the local news isn't reporting spikes in cases! Lol.

Anyway, I guarantee most of those same people also don't think anything about the protests other than whatever Fox News tells them.

I should really consider moving away from this particular shit-hole suburb of Dayton just to be around more like-minded people. I saw a LOT of Trump signs in 2016.

It was assuming that Hillary Clinton had it in the bag that gave some sort of perverse permission for some Bernie Sanders supporters to vote for Trump, just to trim her margin of victory. And that backfired on all of us big time.

Your words of caution are well written, and should be heeded.

i think its important to recognize that we have to get out the vote, but also that trump is likely to lose. However, he must lose decisively so that his power base is destroyed. Also, we need to overwhelm at the Senate level and win as many seats as possible. We also have to win State houses and governor ships so that the repugs can't gerrymander state seats in the upcoming redistricting process. This is vital. That's how they weakened Obama in 2010.

We have to overwhelmingly win so that we can repair that destruction the repugs have created under trump and earlier under george w.

Look at the White House surrounded by guards this morning. No presidency can survive such a photograph.
