The LA Police Commission meeting is Lit!
We have a "citizen's commission" in LA that's doing a pretty terrible job of representing the people of LA and, to top it off, yesterday the police chief said that the looters this weekend were as responsible for George Floyd's death as the Minneapolis PD. That's not going over well.
And, in mayor Garcetti's budget for next year, LAPD accounts for more than 50% of the budget. Here are a few samples of what's been happening:
