"Shoot to kill arsonists, shoot to maim looters." A twelve year old boy was killed because of his directive to his police. Daley ran Chicago like a dictator and he had some of the most brutal and corrupt cops in the country.

a wake-up call for the rest of America when they saw anti-war protesters being beaten outside the Democratic Convention.

He lived in a bubble, which was apparent by the way he treated delegates at the Democratic convention, as if they were criminals. If they didn't like it, they could "get the hell out of my city". I was so embarrassed for Chicago. The first and only time I ever voted republican was to vote against that monster.

A peaceful protest was infiltrated by saboteurs and the police responded violently. Same as it ever was.
