Racist Steve King is currently losing his primary by 8 points to his GOP challenger

Nate Cohn
@Nate_Cohn

Steve King's (R-IA04) reelection chances are in jeopardy right now, as he trails a GOP primary challenger by 8 points so far. His hope, at this point, is that the early vote is unrepresentative. And that's his only hope, as many relatively weak areas for him are outstanding.

7. He is supported by a radical evangelical that supported King and Ted Cruz' presidential bid.

I can't see why people here are shitting their pants with happiness about King losing his primary. Our candidate stood a very good chance of beating King in the General, now the district has to be rated as likely leaning republican.

Another thing that I am concerned about is a "new" republican face there will makeup harder for our democrats that are running for re-election there.

It just amazes me, the political savvy of some members here appears to be close to zero. Let's hope Iowa democrats and independents are more in tune.

10. I agree. In Georgia, people seem excited because Kelly Loefller is likely to lose

GOP nomination for Senate. But, it’s to Doug Collins. There’s a chance — although small — a Dem could win in November. The idea of Collins being our Senator is sickening.

UPDATE: Nevermind, a bunch of votes came in and took Feenstra way over the top. Steve King is out.
