A man stands with his child in front of the police during demonstrations Sunday in downtown Long Beach. Police pointed rubber bullet guns to get crowds to back away.
"This man stood with his child most of the time until the police started using concussive grenades but they never fired on him but did occasionally pointed their rubber bullet guns towards him."
Posted on Instagram, Photographer Richard Grant states this is the most impactful picture I have ever taken.

That little girl has to live with the image of that asshole pointing a gun at her dads head. She doesnt know its a rubber bullet, flash bang or whatever the fuck it is. She will remember this. WTAF.

Or, she could be a death ninja in disguise! The cute ones can be deadly!
Some cops think, some just follow orders, and some use the uniform and badge to dominate.

"Hi, Mr. Policeman. How come you're wearing that funny thing on your face? Is that cuz there's a virus goin' round that makes people sick? You know, my daddy says people should be careful 'bout pointing guns at folks cuz you might hurt someone."

(61,694 posts)A child that young might remember the experience of attending a peaceful protest, but its meaning may not be clear. I might take an older child, like age 10, because it is likely to be more impactful. But given how these protests have gone, I doubt I'd take a child at all, except for maybe the first hour.
