wearing Romney/Ryan buttons? The camera just panned to them after they got gashed for a 40-yard run by UF, and they're already down by 14 midway through the 4th. Looked like they were going to cry. I see more crying in their future.

They looked like this but were orange, so there must be some UT tie-in or they were custom-made.

(488 posts)Next time you happen to be in TX you might want to take in San Antonio. A little place called the Alamo. There you'd see where TN gained the name Volunteers. Additionally, the REAL UT was founded in 1794.

The University is a direct partner of the University of Tennessee Medical Center, it is one of two Level I trauma centers in the East Tennessee region. As a teaching hospital, it has aggressive medical research programs.
The University of Tennessee is the only university in the nation to have three presidential papers editing projects and holds collections of the papers of all three U.S. presidents from TennesseeAndrew Jackson, James K. Polk and Andrew Johnson.

UT Medical Center is top notch, too. They saved my mother's life, when specialists and one of the 'supposedly' best heart surgeons in the country in Atlanta were left puzzled and scratching their collective heads. They're also the reason I'm still able to walk today. I'll be there next week for my yearly MRI/check-up on my neck.
"the lesser"?? No, I don't think so!

Kick in to the DU tip jar?
This week we're running a special pop-up mini fund drive. From Monday through Friday we're going ad-free for all registered members, and we're asking you to kick in to the DU tip jar to support the site and keep us financially healthy.
As a bonus, making a contribution will allow you to leave kudos for another DU member, and at the end of the week we'll recognize the DUers who you think make this community great.
