Lies Fox 'News' told

Surfing the cable channels yesterday to get their various perspectives,
I heard this whopper on Faux Noise:

"Fox News can not independently confirm that tear gas was used to clear demonstrators from Lafayette Park
across from the White House."

The 'reporter' continues:
"While I was not there, my sources tell me IF tear gas was present
it could have been used by someone among the crowd to create chaos."

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention: “Riot control agents (sometimes referred to as “tear gas”) are chemical compounds that temporarily make people unable to function by causing irritation to the eyes, mouth, throat, lungs, and skin.”

And, according to the CDC, “several different compounds” fall under this definition, and are employed by security forces, including military and police, in riot control situations.

Among others, they include chloroacetophenone (CN), more commonly referred to as “mace,” or pepper sprays — in other words, the compound that was deployed in Lafayette Square — and chlorobenzylidenemalononitrile (CS), “one of the most commonly used tear gases in the world,” according to an article in the British Medical Journal.

CNN showed both Trumps speech and the forces clearing the street. Fox viewers may not have seen it

Wouldn't it be cool if a group of disgruntled billionaires took out ad time every week on FOX to counter their fake and incomplete news reports with actual footage of events and statements that the viewers wouldn't ordinarily see? To fill in the blanks, you understand.
