Back outside the White House. Today the perimeter has been pushed back another half block. Federal law enforcement of some kind, but they won’t identify themselves, and all insignias and name plates have been removed.

They want to control the scene and the moment. Once they've got you out if the scene they probably don't care if they have to release you.

And if they actually did care about a charge, they can just hand you over to a real officer.
