The head of the AFL-CIO wants the Minneapolis police union to resign, due to his inflammatory remarks.

This happens in just about any city, police unions will try to (and often succeed) block any reforms.

Cops beating suspects for no reason? No problem!
Cops shooting unarmed people? No problem!

Putting an end to these abuses? BIG problem!

that most of the Minneapolis officers live outside the city. They have no idea of the community’s standards. Instead they impose their biases on the citizens of Minneapolis.
