What is the significance of the Seattle protest location?

The protesters have been in the same place the last three days. What makes their location significant?

Somewhere on Capitol Hill?

Not from Seattle but that is a very diverse neighborhood.

Is there a historical significance? Not sure. LGBTQ center, some huge multi million dollar mansions, then some basic row houses.

9. Looks like Capitol Hill, for perspective it basically overlooks Seattle down to Pikes Place

Where they throw fish and the original Starbucks.

Really, really cool neighborhood, as stated above, some HUGE mansions on a few streets but then an eclectic mix of people. So for the most part, the people that live and than neighborhood, including the multi millionaires, understand that they are a part of a bigger community.

Just saw the curfew was suspended for today based upon how well things are going.

As an aside, put Seattle on the bucket lists to visit. One of the Greatest Cities on the US.

It is in front of SPD East precinct. Also in Capitol Hill neighborhood which has large college age population.
