With the protests and brutality going on,what can the homeless do?
They live on the street, there is nowhere to curfew to. There's not enough spaces in shelters and shelters are not safe places. Do the cops just kick the shit out of them because they are on the street? A homeless person could be set up easily by right-wing thug looter "giving them something" wanting a cop to think the homeless person 2as a looter. I'm worried innocent people might get blamed beaten and hauled to jail.
I'm just wondering anyone looking out for them?

(5,164 posts)Of a homeless man being attacked by what looked like protestors or looters during a demonstration. I am not sure if it was real or who was attacking him. I think homeless people are being allowed to be wherever they are after curfews in many cities.

Thats based mostly on viewing Atlanta protests, and familiarity with area. But Im sure its not making things better for homeless.

(6,043 posts)In my location many have been chased out of malls and shopping centers where they used to meet,, charge phones, use banks, and get meals. Some are living in wooded areas and are isolated
Those with cars are faring better than those without.
I do not think CDC. or officials deciding on shutdowns have really taken homeless people into account, at least in my area.
