The cops are playing with their toys in a lot of cities
I'm watching a feed from Iowa City. Cops started launching tear gas canisters and flash grenades into a loud but peaceful crowd.

Same thing in Portland. They attacked a peaceful crowd and car traffic with teargas.

Who runs these cities and why is this permitted? We've gotten into a cycle in many cities that cops indiscriminately use tear gas, flash grenades, rubber bullets, and whatever else they have around. It happens every night to peaceful crowds.
