Counter-protesters

No, not thinking about the white supremacists and agents provocateurs and such.

Have you noticed that there have been no reports about trump supporters showing up to demonstrate support of their dear leader. Even in areas where demonstrations have been 100% violence-free, his supporters are not there. You’d think someone, somewhere would want to show their fealty, if we not to “own the libs.” No MAGA hats, no bikers for trump, zip.

personal safety? If so that just shows that, like tRUMP, there are some areas of reality that they recognize...

I thought perhaps they stayed home when they got news military would be out in force, as they likely don't really want to be arrested; hence, peaceful protests abound.
