He has lost the Generals.

Rumor has it the Joint Chiefs hate him. Murkowski and Collins are waffling. Polls are against him. The Republicans are not like rats. They don't leave the sinking ship. They sink the ship and get a new one.

Does shithead resign soon?

That would be admitting that he is a complete failure. AND open the door for all of those pesky lawsuits and financial investigations.

For several reasons. One - his fragile ego never admits to being wrong. And Two - New York has some tasty indictments ready to drop in his lap.

He might feign illness and convince Mother's Boy to pardon him, though. But it still doesn't get him out from under those state charges.

I hope to be proven wrong.

11. Collins will never oppose him. Neither will Murkowski.

Continuing to support him is their only chance of getting reelected. For Collins especially. Democrats already hate her and are 100% behind her opponent so it does her no good electorally to oppose the leader of her own party. Let's not pretend she has actual principles.

Murkowski and Collins will wring their hands and in the end back trump.

The generals may hate him, but he is their commander in chief. Will they obey his orders, legal or not? I don't know.

As for the republicans who don't speak up? They don't speak up because they don't disagree with him. And you know what? Many of them will be re-elected. And the ones that don't will almost certainly get sinecures in business and "think" tanks and RW and hate radio, tv, and press. All of them will vote for the unqualified judges.

He can fire all the Generals.
With a few tweets he can have Murkowski and Collins fearing for their lives.
