I just can't , seriously what is this.

The first spouse, whether woman or man, has no official duties nor title in the United States. There are a million good policy reasons to keep it that way. If one absolutely must put a family member in government, make it official and appoint a spouse to a specific position for specific purposes. The spouse is not supposed to simply take on duties that belong to the presidency under any circumstances.

This tweet below should leave us all breathless and afraid.

Trump wants a government where his daughter is a senior adviser who speaks in official meetings, his son-in-law is perhaps the second most powerful person in the White House and runs programs, his kids work as campaign officials, with their wives and girlfriends getting paid, and now Trump’s idiot, spoiled brat, unsmiling, miserable, “wife,” is being “briefed” by FEMA on hurricane preparedness. In other words, Trump is running this like the Trump organization, a small, tight, criminal, family enterprise with as few people involved as possible.

When I read the initial story, I thought she was in any way being involved in FEMA matters and nearly had a heart attack out of sheer disbelief.

It’s for a program she’s involved in raising awareness among youth about hurricane preparedness. That doesn’t bother me that much. First Ladies do many programs targeting children.

And besides, it’s not like she’ll ever actually do anything about it anyway.
