3. I had a respectful discussion with a Republican

I asked him what he thought about democracy and the idea that Trump is ruling our nation with a heavy hand like he won the election in a way that allowed him to claim a mandate from the people.

His response was "well he won by the rules"


That speaks volumes about the lack of values of the Trumper/Republicans. They don't care about democracy. They don't believe America should decide how America is run. They simply want power and control and that's it.


As such they are hardly going to be bothered by Trump threatening our democracy or Constitution as they see the damage as benefitting themselves
