FLIPPABLE: Steve Gorman for IA-SD08
Steve Gorman was born and raised in Council Bluffs, attended both public and private schools before graduating from St Albert High School in Council Bluffs. He then attended ABC apprenticeship after high school to become a commercial Journeyman electrician.
For 27 years, Steve has answered the call. As a firefighter, Steve has been recognized for numerous lifesaving awards. Going above and beyond the call of duty, including cardiac, trauma and fire events as a frontline firefighter. He is a member of the International Association of Firefighters (IAFF) Local 15.
Steve and his wife, Chris, have been married for 31 years. She has been a teacher for 28 years and is currently teaching 8th grade for Council Bluffs Community Schools. They have two grown children.
