After all, McConnell and company not only refused to take congressional action to contain and even to mitigate its spread -- and limit deaths! -- but actively blocked all Democratic attempts to get legislation through.

McConnell has allowed ONLY economic action, and they tried (but at least partially failed due to house Democrats) to use that as an excuse for another massive transfer of tax dollars to the wealthy.

I shudder when I think of where we'd be now without people putting Democrats in control of the house in 2018. But now we have civil disorder around the nation, with organized agitators pouring fuel on it -- in the middle of a pandemic -- and with the summer natural disaster season about to cut loose.
