There will be a protest outside the US Embassy in Jamaica tomorrow

Last edited Sat Jun 6, 2020, 05:32 AM - Edit history (1)

Civil Society groups have arranged it.
After a week of severe criticism, the Prime Minister finally came out this evening and condemned the murder of George Flynn and the treatment of protesters in the USA.
On the other hand, locally the story of a man who died in prison at 81 came to light - Mr. James Chambers was in prison for 41 years - what is criminal about this is that he was in the prison for 41 years and had never had a trial - he was never formally charged.
The poor man was mentally ill. This is just as bad as the murder of George Floyd. In fact this was 41 years of torture.

States everywhere are failing citizens. Something has gone horribly wrong.
Man to man is so unjust - yah don't know who to trust...Marley
