Brennan appeared to have been an employee of MadeToOrder, Inc., a branding company that helps create promotional products.

Shortly after Brennan's arrest was announced, the company tweeted a statement that it had fired an employee who had “engaged in disturbing, wrongful, and completely unacceptable behavior directed towards peaceful demonstrators.”

Anthony Brennan III, 60, of Kensington is charged with three counts of second-degree assault. Park Police received hundreds of tips to help develop Brennan as the suspect, police said.

Police contacted Brennan and his legal counsel Friday and got consent to search his home, police. Evidence was taken from the home and a warrant was obtained. Brennan voluntarily surrendered to detectives Friday evening.

In a statement provided by Brennan's attorneys, the suspect acknowledged his behavior was unacceptable and wrong and the community outrage is justified.

“I am sick with remorse for the pain and fear I caused the victims on the trail, and online," Brennan said. "I am cooperating fully with authorities. I am committed to making amends by addressing, through counseling, the underlying issues that led to my abhorrent behavior."

This guy is in for a big surprise after he physically attacked a child in America. If he is not jailed, we are sunk as a nation.

Counseling is readily available in prison.

WWII/Korea/Vietnam Navy vet, worked in a union shop and served as shop steward, retired, volunteered 30 hours a week after that at local schools as an unpaid custodian, painted watercolors, took a dip almost every day in the bay (unless the air temp was colder than 40). When he entered an assisted living home at 95, he was bored, so he was put in charge of the saltwater aquarium and signing guests in and out of the facility.

He was the son of an illiterate oysterman and a woman who worked as a maid and laundress to help keep him in high school.

Three days before he died peacefully in bed, he ran the Christmas Eve swing dance party at his assisted living facility. He was laid to rest with an American flag draped across his casket, after being taken to the cemetery in a horse-drawn carriage driven by his local priest, and was lulled to his forever sleep with a piper playing the Minstrel Boy and an Honor Guard salute.

So, maybe remember not all IIIs are trust fund kids.
