FLIPPABLE: Matthew Stallings for AR-HD38
Matthew Stallings is a husband, a father, a firefighter, and an advocate. He is a servant and a fighter. He is running to be the next State Representative for District 38.
Matthew and his wife, Maygie, have been married for ten years and have three children. They reside in the North Little Rock neighborhood of Lakewood, where their children attend Lakewood Elementary and Matthew coaches T-ball. He has been a firefighter for over ten years and during that time has been an advocate for firefighters, working to push legislation addressing occupational cancer in the fire service and fighting to protect the retirement security of working class Arkansans.
Matthew is a proud member of the Little Rock Fire Fighters Local 34 and the Arkansas Professional Fire Fighters. In 2019, he was the recipient of his department’s award for “Firefighter of the Year”, “Person of the Year”, and Local 34’s “Brotherhood Award”. He graduated from UALR in 2016 and, once upon a time, was a member of the 2004 SEC Co-Champion Razorback Baseball team.
