This article is exactly correct and everyone who has voted for stronger policing and harsher legal penalties is guilty.

For years Republicans and Democrats have tried to one up each other on how harsh on crime they can be. Of course what they meant was crime committed by Black & Latino folks.

I'm amazed that it took this long for this system to break (I hope it broke).

I'd write more but I have to go and protest.
