I fear that as our WWII veterans are dying from age--but accelerated by COVID-19-- and many of our schools fail to teach our history adequately, this won't have the impact it should for the youngest generations.
As for me and those in the age cohorts closest to me, it hits home with a poignancy that should resonate

The red phone rings, it's 3am the camera fades in and out of different rooms of the white house. But every room is empty. You keep hear the phone ringing in the background. Then the camera see's a man hiding in a bunker to afraid to answer that 3am call, and the phone keeps ringing.
