Question: Can we even survive five more months of Trump?

Even if, hoping if, praying if, GOTV if we can get this Trumpanidemaniac out of office -- can we even survive five more months?

I am hoping for more condemnations from prominent Republican figures, more editorial boards and we the people demanding the resignation of this madman. Yes, this is about BLM, yes this is about systemic oppression, but it is always about white supremacy and we have a "leader" who's motto "Make America Great Again" is nothing more than not-so-veiled racism.

But when he loses in November, we will still have him squatting in OUR HOUSE until January. Eight months.

We must keep the pressure on him to resign, although I realize that's a long shot.
Even with Pence installed, the IPOTUS's resignation would put a damper on what seems like a building conflagration in this country.
Frankly, I don't see how we get through the summer without massive unrest at this rate.

He and his cult groupies can inflict even more damage, if that's possibe -- he'll find a way to extract more revenge, inflict more pain and suffering and do his best to rip this country to shreds.

At this rate, I can't imagine what our country will look like in November.

You really can't have meaningful racial or economic reform until he/his people are gone.

Don’t forget the 10 weeks he remains president after the election. Possibly the most dangerous period of his whole reign.

IMHO, it's the Rethug Senate and numerous blood-red state legislatures that could doom us with a potential economic collapse.

If unemployment relief and healthcare programs are not adequately funded and many people are forced back to work under dangerous conditions, we could see a massive spike in coronavirus infections resulting in public panic along with an overload of the healthcare system.

If the Senate and those state legislatures grew some backbone, they could step up to the plate of leadership, do the right things and Trump's lack of leadership would be neutered. I don't see that happening with a drown it in a bathtub mentality in much of the nation.

I really fear we're at a far more fragile point than most citizens realize.

Just my non-professional gut feeling......
