At most of the major protests I have attended over the last 3+ years they were getting people registered, etc. Various groups like to do this at tables set up at the gathering places before and after marches.

at many of the events. That's a great thing as most of the demonstrators are younger, and here's hoping they turn out in November in higher numbers than usual.

The local Democratic party had voter registration/vote by mail tables set up. They went around the crowd handing out plastic baggies with a vote by mail registration card and pen.
They will be doing same tomorrow at another event.
