. . . . "demonstrators" instead of "protestors"?
I get that emotions remain high. I can say for certain mine are. But does the connotation of "demonstrators" seem less reasonable for the right wing to attack than "protesters"? We have heard of "far left protestors" but I don't recall hearing much about "far left demonstrators".
Would this change in the words help our side get even more control of the narrative?

Screw the right wing, if they refuse to understand. Even asses on Fox are fine with protestors. They draw the line at looters etc.

(9,243 posts)I've been making sure to always use the phrase 'peaceful protesters', so it has a positive impact.
Demonstrating sounds more like teaching, displaying, sharing, etc. and pulls people in. IMHO.
